"Baby, cause I'm a thug..."

I can think of few things more hilarious than a bunch of white people trying to dress and dance like thugs. BET would have a field day if they got their hands on video from Jason's Hip Hop Housewarming. If you need a laugh, check out the pictures here. It was a blast. Grier, you are a hip hop genius. Kind of. :)

ullqfmHey Jerri-

I'm a sometimes frequenter of Ed's blog (he and I play in the band at our church) - and after reading his comment on 'the hottest lawer he knew' - and since he so graciously left a link...I really had to verify for myself. So I get to your blog and how lucky am I that there are your cruise pix - and with these pix I feel I have some pretty good data.
Well, I'm sorry to say that the jury is still hot...I mean out. Y'all do look like you were having a blast (even IF Lee was there) - but to some of us, HOT is a sacred term that we just dont throw around. So - I'll have to get back to you.

Congrats on the whole lawyer thing. Although...is it an honor to graduate with a law degree? Isn't it kinda something you want to keep quiet? Well, congrats anyway.

Hawk

Well Mr. Hawk, I'm not sure what the proper blogging etiquette is about posting insults on a stranger's blog, especially when I cannot seem to find yours and scrutinize it to return the favor.

Nevertheless, you must forgive Ed for his exaggerations. To put his comment into perspective, you should ask him how many lawyers he actually knows, and how many of those are female (after all, it is a man's world). Also, since Ed and I go way back, he oftentimes gives me more credit than I deserve so my sincerest apologies if he got your hopes up for no good reason.

Yeah and I agree with you about the whole law/honor thing. I simply call my law degree an overpriced pain in the....that cost me way more than its worth.

Sorry I didn't put up more of a fight to your attempts to get me riled up. I know you're disappointed, but 3 years of arguing both sides of a point has taken away any inclination to even take a side anymore until someone pays me to do so.

I confess - I was hoping to get more of a rise out of you. Great job of nipping that in the bud. Looks like you are going to be a good lawyer.
Checked out your photo album and I must say that the best looking girl in all the pics has to be your niece...I'm assuming she's your niece. I have two of my own and I am by far their favorite uncle. The best part about being an uncle is that I can take them out, spoil them rotten, show them how uncle Rick is the coolest...and then give them back to my sister at the end of the day.

It is my niece, Raylin. She just turned two this month and had a luau birthday. Pictures to come. She even had a grass skirt, although it took some effort to get it on her...and you can forget about making her wear a lei.

My hopes for her are that one day she'll think I'm cool enough to turn on the rest of the family and say "Go Tigers!" But for now, her favorite shirt to sleep in says "I eat Tiger with my veggies." Poor misguided child.

Oh and your niece is adorable...yall shouldn't make her sit in a bucket though. :)

Come on! You never had to "sit the bucket" growing up!?!?
You so missed out!
